BACKUPS AND DISASTER RECOVERY
Daily backups are kept onsite for the previous 7 days. Periodic backups are kept offsite (retrieval of
backups from offsite archives may be charged for).
OUTAGES
Customers will be warned at least 48 hours in advance of scheduled maintenance work which may disrupt
service.
UNSOLICITED COMMERCIAL EMAIL & VIRUSES
We currently reject more than half of incoming email as junk or viruses. Our email policies are an
attempt to fight spam.
SUPPORTED PROTOCOLS
DNS (domain names), IMAP & ESMTP (email), FTPS (file transfer and storage), HTTPS (web), RSS
(apps). Encryption for IMAP and HTTP is available and encouraged.
DATA PROTECTION
We do not share data with Google or the NSA. We keep customer logs for troubleshooting for only one
month before erasing them. No data is kept in the USA. No data is shared with advertisers. Ever.
SUPPORT
If you need to change your password, or set up or delete new accounts contact Ripserve between 09h30
and 18h00. We will never ask you for your password by email or telephone.
